Program Notes:
I am indebted to my father for the title of this composition, one of my earliest attempts at composing for an instrument besides piano, and a sort of follow-up to A New Hope. During my time at the Peabody Conservatory, my now-wife and myself performed this composition many times at various nursing homes and in other small-venue concerts for charity or through our affiliation with the Mu Phi Epsilon International Music Fraternity.
