- Master composer-teacher, Baltimore Opera Company (Baltimore, MD), March - May 2006; piloted "Create & Produce," an eight-week educational outreach project, in a Baltimore City Title I elementary school, in which third- and fourth-graders wrote an original opera libretto, composed 25 minutes of original music, and performed their opera publicly.
- Guest composer & lecturer, Loyola Academy Middle School (Baltimore, MD), Feb. - May 2006; taught underprivileged seventh-graders about the process and techniques of music composition, and participated in the performance of their first compositions at the end of the teaching process.
