Flood (2008), for two-part children's treble chorus (with piano accompaniment). Original text by Hithem Shaw, student at Daniels Run Elementary School, selected as the winning text of the Poetry in Music competition.

Four Haiku (2007), for mixed SATB chorus (a cappella). Texts by Issa, Buson and Basho, all translated and copyright Robert Hass.

The Story of Hollywood (2006), a short opera for children in two acts. Libretto written and music composed by a group of talented third- and fourth-grade students from Samuel Coleridge-Taylor Elementary School (PS 122), Baltimore, MD, under the auspices of the Baltimore Opera Company's "Create and Produce" educational/outreach program.
